A SON IS BORN.
A TRADITION CONTINUES.

Malika Haqq

When I was a teenager, my lifelong love for jewelry began when my mother and Godmother would gift me fine jewelry for the big moments in my life, such as birthdays and graduations. I would receive earnings, necklaces, bracelets, and other unique pieces that would represent a milestone in my life. Whether it was my sixteenth birthday or my High School graduation, I would have something to commemorate that. Each of these special pieces I still have to this day and every time I put them on it takes me back to those special moments in my life. Gifted jewelry empowered me to buy jewelry for others. Then, my son being born created a whole new love for buying jewelry for myself.

Malika Haqq Story Jewelry

When my baby boy turned one, I got us matching necklaces that say “Ace” for us to wear. This was a special moment in my life because it was the very first time that I had a piece of jewelry made for myself, and it made it even more special that I was able to share this moment with my son. From there, I could not wait to get the second piece made. For my second piece I decided to go with a bracelet with my son’s birthday in roman numerals which pairs beautifully with the “Ace” necklace. I enjoy seeing little symbols of my son— And I will continue to find new ways to merge my two loves together.
